Hi All! Today was the first of two sea days so you know we’re excited! We played three passenger games, Ring Toss, Crazy Eights Card Game, and Name That Tune. We won 5 Regent points (YAY!). We did that while Kathy missed two of the games since she was invited to a special Women’s Luncheon with all the World Cruiser women.
There was a 5:45 Pre-Dinner show which was our good friends in the entertainment team doing their second Variety show. It’s where they each get to show off their talents. It’s one of our favorite shows of the cruise and they once again knocked it out of the park!
Speaking of entertainers, we had dinner with two of them again tonight at the Italian-themed restaurant named Sette Mari. Tonight was with Brennan and Zach. Brennan, one of the male lead singers, is from Virginia and we’ve had dinner with him before.
But Zach, who’s from Glasgow, Scotland, is fairly new to the cast (he replaced Neil who had to leave with an injury) so we’ve never had dinner with him. It was nice to get to know him better and like the others, he’s a great guy!
For dinner I had the Calamari and Meatballs for appetizers along with all the traditional antipasti items they bring out. For my main I had the Sicilian Herb-Crusted Cod. For dessert I had, what else… Tiramisu! Great food, great conversation, great fun!
After dinner we went to the 9:30 PM show which was the Guest Entertainer/Magician named Jay McGee. He’s from London and started performing at age 16. He was really funny and he also had a good voice and sang some. He put on a really great show!
We crashed after the show since we set the clocks back again and will lose another hour’s sleep. (BOO!). Hope everybody had a great day!
