Hi Again Folks! We had another great night on Regent. We started with dinner at Compass Rose with two of our favorite entertainers, Isma and Lachlan. They are two of the lead singers on the ship and have been performing on cruise ships for several years.
Isma is from New Jersey and Lachlan is from Australia and they met on a cruise ship. They are a couple and hope to keep getting assigned to cruise ships together. But they are both so talented they could perform anywhere!
We’ve gotten to know them both so well during this cruise that they really feel like family. We wish we could take them home and introduce them to all our family and friends! They are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. It’s going to be really hard saying goodbye to them, the other performers and everyone else we met on this cruise!
For dinner I had both the Pepper Pot Soup and the Artichoke Risotto for my appetizers. For my main I had the Local Dish called Cachupa, which was slow cooked Pork, Vegetables and Chorizo Stew. For dessert I had the Callebaut Chocolate Marquise. As always, everything was so delicious!
After dinner we went to the 9:30 PM show which was the Guest Entertainment group called Duo Essencias. They are a husband and wife team where he plays the violin and she dances Flamenco. Cool combo! Their show was called “The Dream” and it was described as “Follow our lovestruck violinist as he dreams of a life of passion, excitement and romance”. It was all that and more! And Isma and Lachlan had a cameo appearance!!
After the show we crashed since we turn the clocks ahead and lose an hour sleep tonight (BOO!) but we have a sea day tomorrow (YAY!). Hope everyone had a great day!
