Hi Gang! Another fun sea day today! We played lots of games. Ring Toss, Officer’s Olympics (various games), High Handed Dice Game, Top Toss, and Name That Tune. We won 9 Regent points (YAY)!
They did have a 5:45 PM show but we skipped it (sacrilege!) and got ready for dinner. We ate at Compass Rose and finally got to sit at our favorite table (Table 122, otherwise known as the “Honeymoon Table”).
It was nice to also see our servers Apple and Marjorie again. They’re so good to us! And today was Head Sommelier Newman’s last day since he leaves tomorrow and has been on for the whole world cruise. He too takes such good care of us making sure we have our Coke Zeros and Sweet Tea! Such a fun guy!!
As for our dinner, I had the Prime Beef and Manchego Croquettes for my appetizer and the Grilled Red Snapper for my main. I also had the Salted-Hazelnut Caramel Mousse Cake for dessert. Lastly we caught a beautiful sunset to finish off the meal. Another fantastic Regent dinner!
They didn’t have an evening show but they did have an ABBA Dance Party at 9:30 PM put on by the Regent Singers and Dancers. They sang all the great ABBA songs and we danced the night away. What a great way to end a great day!
We then called it a night since we lost two hours sleep over the last two nights and we have an early excursion tomorrow. As we get closer to Europe, we can finally say we’ve been to the port we’re going to tomorrow. We’ll be in Santa Cruz de La Palma in the Canary Islands. Hope everyone had a great day!
