Hi All! Another sea day! And you know what that means… sea days = game days! We played six (yes 6!!) different games which were Skittles, Baggo (Officer’s Challenge), 7’s Dice Game, Axe Throwing, Guess That Tune, and Shuffle Golf. We won 22 Regent points (all time record! YAY!) but lost to the Officers (BOO!).
They had a Pre-Dinner event tonight which was the Seven Seas Society night. That’s the night they honor us all for our loyalty (and the fact that we all paid them a gazillion dollars!! Lol). The Captain and the Future Cruise Constant host it and they always include one or two of the performers doing a short song or dance. Tonight it was Brennan and Russell both singing a couple songs. So good!
Right after the event we had dinner in Compass Rose with our good friends Margaret and G who are Regent dancers. I say this about all the performers but they are all such great people! And so mature and worldly for their age. Margaret and G probably do the most intense dance moves and I told them they should be working for Cirque du Soleil!
As excited as I was to have dinner with them, I was almost as excited to have the Miso Glazed Sea Bass!! Not sure why, but they only serve that on Seven Seas Society nights so we always make sure we go to Compass Rose on those nights. I have a surprise about that I’ll tell you about tomorrow. I also got the Sweet Potato Cream Soup and the Porcini Risotto for my appetizers and for dessert got the Callebaut Chocolate Mousse.
After dinner we went to a brand new show by our other good performer friend Lachlan, one of the lead male Regent Singers. This show was called “Black Tie Optional”. His show was described as “Taking us back to the Golden Era of Crooners”. He sang songs from Van Morrison, Michael Buble, Elvis Presley and many others. It was his best show yet!
After the show we called it a night. Tomorrow is another sea day of fun and relaxation. We are truly living the dream! Hope everyone had a great day!
