Hi Folks! Another glorious sea day! And as I always say… wash… rinse… repeat! You know the drill. Passenger games, great food, great service, great friends and great entertainment. What’s not to love??
We played four passenger games which were Roll-A-Ball, Axe Throwing (Officer’s Challenge), Crazy 8’s Card Game, and Top Toss. We won 5 Regent points (YAY!) but lost to the Officers (BOO!). They’ve been beating us a lot lately!
Tonight they had a 5:45 PM Pre-Dinner show with our good friend and lead female vocalist Isma with her own show entitled “Raised on Rhythm”. We’ve seen it before but always go because we love the show and love to support her. She sang, she tapped danced, she did a duet with Lachlan and she shared her story of growing up. She is soooo talented!
After the show we went to dinner in Compass Rose with our good friends Colleen, Steve, Marci and Jim. I mentioned yesterday that I had a surprise for tonight and the surprise was…. Drum roll… Colleen worked it out that we could all order my favorite main dish again tonight which was the Miso-Glazed Sea Bass!! Colleen is now forever my all time hero!
And Kathy was also so excited for tonight’s dinner since they had her all time favorite dessert… Drum roll…. Sticky Date Toffee Pudding!! Of course other than all this great food, we also had great conversation We all love Regent and we all love cruising so we had lots of great travel stories to discuss. We feel so fortunate to call all four of these fine folks our friends!
After dinner we went to the evening show which was the Guest Entertainer/Magician named Stuart Lightbody. We saw his previous show and he is both an excellent magician and mentalist but also a very funny guy! This show was even better than his first!
After the show we crashed. Tomorrow we are in Dakar, Senegal and you guessed it, another new port for us. Can’t wait! Hope everyone had a great day!
