Hi Again Gang! We had another great night on Regent. We started with dinner at Compass Rose with our next door neighbors LaTonja and Larry from San Diego. We met them a week ago at the Regent Block party and given both our busy schedules we finally found a night that worked!
Like us, they like to travel and La Tonja is a travel agent. They do both land and cruise travel and have done several safaris. So of course you know what we talked about all night! That darn Safari bug is hard to shake!
Of course the food was delicious as always and I tried a lot! I started with both the Cream of Artichoke Soup as well as the Green Asparagus Risotto for my appetizers. For my main I got the Spiced Branzino Filet and for dessert I had the Soufflé.
After dinner we went to the 9:30 PM show which was the Guest Entertainment Group CH2 from the other night. If you remember, they claim to be the fastest guitarists in the world and I’d agree they are. Their show tonight was called “2 Guitars, 4 Hands, 12 Strings” and you’d have thought they had a whole orchestra with them. Their sound is amazing and they put on another excellent show!
After the show, we called it a night since we were up very early today. We have two sea days in a row coming up as we sail up the coast of West Africa to Dakar, Senegal. Hope everyone had a great day!
