Hi Again Gang! The word of tonight was Baby Elephant! We actually didn’t see a whole lot on tonight’s game drive but we did get to see this baby elephant trying to nurse off the mother. Too cute!! We also saw Zazu from The Lion King, which is a Southern Yellow-Billed Hornbill bird. And of course we saw a Hyena.
After our game drive, we were greeted by a group of singers from a local village welcoming us to a Bonfire dinner. The resort had the area all set up beautifully and served buffet style with all kinds of interesting foods that were barbecued.
We ate (or should I say, I ate!) Crocodile, Impala (and I didn’t even have to drag it up a hill!), Wart Hog and other interesting delicacies. As they say, “when in Rome”!
As always, 5 AM comes along way to early so it’s off to bed now. Hope everyone had a great day!
