Hi Gang! We had another amazing early morning game drive today! We saw some gory “circle of life” stuff. Close your eyes & ears kids… we saw a hyena drag an impala kill up a hill and eat it! We were so close we could hear them crunching the bones since they eat the whole carcass. Yuk!
We also saw a momma elephant with two babies one of which the guide said was probably only 2 months old. We also saw a pack of baboons along the road and a momma was carrying the little baby on her back. Awwww… with Mother’s Day coming up, ya gotta love that!
But the funniest moment of all was when we stopped for our morning coffee and snack break. The guides set out lots of cookies and one batch was gluten free so they set them off ny themselves. All of a sudden this Vervet Monkey ran down, grabbed a gluten free cookie and climbed up the tree to eat it. We didn’t have the heart to tell him it was gluten free! Lol
We then came back to an amazing breakfast and a much needed nap! I’ll post another update tonight.
