World Cruise – Regent Seven Seas Mariner – 154 Days – Sea Day – Day 112 – Final Pics!

Friday May 1, 2026

Hi All! Happy May Day! Wait, is that actually a celebrated day?? Or is that just the “distress signal call” in radio communications?? Mayday! Mayday! Inquiring minds want to know!

Well we know for sure it is the 1st day of May and 2026 is flying by (or for us I should say sailing by!). Today was another glorious sea day on Regent. We could get used to all this pampering (wait, we have for the last 112 days!). So a sea day today meant no work and all games!

We played three passenger games, specifically, Baggo (Officer’s Challenge), High Hand Dice game, and Top Toss. We won 7 Regent points and beat the officers! Double YAY!

There was no pre-dinner show so we did an early dinner at Compass Rose. It was a bittersweet moment since tonight is the last time we’ll have Dennis as our waiter for this trip. He has been one of our favorite waiters of all time!

For dinner I had the Stir Fried Cashew Chicken for my appetizer and the Cobia Filet for my main. The desserts weren’t my favorites so I did the cheese plate for my dessert which really isn’t dessert. But it was tasty!

After dinner we went to the show which was the guest entertainers named Wayne & Morgan from the other night. Their show was called “Tracks of My Years” and they once again played lots of old Motown songs and had everyone up dancing and singing along. It was such a great show!

After the show we went to a new activity they’ve not had on the world cruise so far called “Liar’s Club”. Dean our cruise director hosted it and they had 3 people playing, Jamie, the world cruise host, Naki Ataman, the piano player from last night, and the comedian from the other night named Paul Adams.

The game entails the host naming a strange word no one’s ever heard of and each person comes up with a crazy definition of the word, but only one of them is right. The audience has to vote on who’s telling the truth and who’s lying.

They did it as a passenger game and gave out Regent points. We played with our friend Tina and only got one word right so we got zero Regent points! But it was hilarious and a really fun game show type activity to watch and participate in!

After that we called it a night. Tomorrow we are in the African country of Mozambique which begins our 24 straight days along southern and Western Africa. We’ve never been to any of these places so we’re excited to start this portion of the journey. Hope everyone had a great day!

PS: Before dinner we saw the first full moon of May which they call the Flower Moon. Very cool!
