Hi Gang! Another glorious sea day! Do I even have to write anything or do I just say DITTO! Lol. Yes, we played lots of passenger games, ate great food, got great service, saw great entertainment and hung out with great friends. See… DITTO!
Specifically we played 5 games which were Skittles, Dutch Shuffleboard (Officer’s Challenge), 7’s Dice Game, Baggo and Top Toss. We won 8 Regent points and beat the Officers. Double YAY!
For dinner we ate at Compass Rose with our world cruise friends Ken and Sandy and two of their friends who just got on recently. Their names are Joe and Debbie and they’re from Australia. Ken and Sandy met them 24 years ago on a cruise and kept in touch all those years and met up with them again on this cruise. Crazy!
For dinner I had the Chicken Consommé for my appetizer and the Jerk-Spiced Local Tuna Filet for my main. And I kept my streak going with no dessert for dinner! But I did sneak a cookie at lunch. Once again great food, great friends, great conversation! Can’t beat it! But no food pics, sorry!
After dinner we went to the show which was a guest entertainment duo named Wayne & Morgan. They’re originally from South Africa but now live in Scotland. They do a Soul and Motown tribute and add a little of their African roots to give the show a funky, modern twist. In 2021 they were semi-finalists on the UK’s Voice.
Their show was called “Signed, Sealed & Delivered” so of course they sang Stevie Wonder along with The Temptations, and lots of other Motown favorites. They played great music and had everyone up off their feet dancing in the aisles. It was a great show!
After the show we went to the Horizon Lounge to dance to the Arista Duo. A great way to end the night. Tomorrow we’re in Madagascar (the country not the 2005 movie by DreamWorks!). Another new country to check off the bucket list! Maybe we’ll get to see some lemurs?? Hope everyone had a great day.
