Hi All! Today is the first of three sea days (in hockey terms, a hat trick!). You guys know how much we love our sea days and today was no different. Along with our regular passenger games we played, Regent had their “Country Fair” games on the pool deck this morning.
That’s where lots of different crew areas run games like you’re at a Fair. You don’t win Regent points (bummer!) but you get a ticket for each game you win. Then at the end they call numbers from all the tickets and if they call your number, you win the various prizes. We won lots of games and got lots of tickets but didn’t win anything (bummer!). But I got a great picture of Kathy winning a game where she was shaking ping pong balls out of a Kleenex box attached to her butt! Lol.
We also played 3 passenger games today which were Balloons (card game similar to Spoons), Baggo, and Guess That Tune. We won 8 Regent points (YAY!). We chilled in the late afternoon and got ready for dinner.
We had dinner with two other Regent dancers tonight, Russell and Emma. They too are a couple and have been performing on cruise ships for a while. Russel is from England and Emma is from Argentina. I didn’t mention this in my Taj Mahal update but the day we left, Emma carried Kathy’s luggage and escorted us off the ship and thru Immigration and saved us tons of time. To thank him, we bought him a Taj Mahal t-shirt. They both are such great people!
Food choices in Compass Rose were excellent as always. For my appetizer I had the Seafood Risotto and for my main I had the Seared Grouper. For dessert (yes, I had to get this yummy dessert!) I had the Sticky Date Toffee Pudding. Everything was sooo delicious! But sorry, no food pics!
After dinner we went to the show. It was a guest entertainer named Analiza Ching. We missed her first show since we were at the Taj but she is a violinist and everyone that saw her show really liked it. Her show was called “Smoke on the Water”. She had so much energy and played a wide variety of songs. She was really good and had us all up on our feet!
After the show we finished out the night in the Horizon Lounge dancing to the Arista Duo. They are the best! Tomorrow is another sea day! Hope everyone had a great day!
PS: Happy Earth Day! I’d plant a tree but we’re floating in the Arabian Sea! But we did see a beautiful rainbow tonight!
