Hi Gang! Today we were anchored in Juneau, Alaska. It’s the only US Capitol that has no rode access to it. So you can only get there via float plane or ship. So ya know we were out in the sticks!
So again today we rented a car and wandered all over. But again no bears! But we did find one of the most serene, quiet, beautiful places on the planet. It was the National Shrine to St Therese. Such an idyllic setting amongst the mountains and only about 10 miles north of Juneau.
We also saw another bald eagle and actually got a pic as well as we got to see Mendenhall Glacier. We didn’t dock until Noon so we just chilled in the morning. Picked up our rental car and had it until 7:30 PM.
When we got back onboard we just got cleaned up, ordered room service and then went to Horizons for the 80’s music party. That was fun! Hope everyone had a great day!
