Hi Again All! I still can’t believe we’re starting the last leg of this cruise. It’s kinda crazy to think about getting home and then reality sets in… no one to cook our meals, no one to wash our clothes, no one to clean our bathrooms, no free entertainment every night and most of all… no passenger games to play!! Heck I’m not even sure I’m going to remember how to drive! Lol.
But enough of that depressing talk! Tonight is tonight and we’re blessed to be on an amazing Regent ship for the next 11 days and be spoiled rotten! And we started with another great night.
We had dinner in Compass Rose with our good friends Tina, Ramone and Christy. We have known them pretty much from day one and have done excursions together, had lunches and dinners together, played the games together and even danced the night away in the Horizon Lounge together. We consider them life long friends and hope to see them again when we visit Kathy’s family in Miami!
For dinner I decided to pick all local Portuguese dishes so I had Caldo Verde (Portuguese Green Soup) for my appetizer, Portuguese Feljoada (Slow Roasted Pork with Beans) for my main, and Pastel de Nata (Portuguese Custard Tart) for my dessert. So as they say in Portuguese, the meal was Fabuloso!
After dinner we went to the 9:30 PM show which was our good friends of the Entertainment Team doing their show called Divos and Divas. You know the drill… yes we’ll have seen this show for the 8th time but we love the music and we love each and every one of them.
They’re like our kids and we go each show to support them. And sadly this will be the last performance we’ll see of that show on this cruise (he writes again while sobbing… you’ll be hearing a lot of that these last 11 days!).
After the show we went to the Horizon Lounge and danced till Midnight. What a great night! Tomorrow is a much needed sea day! Hope everyone had a great day!
