Hi Gang! We had another amazing sea day on Regent. But we did mix it up a bit from our regular routine. We actually skipped the first passenger game (What?? That’s heresy!) and we wondered… are we getting tired of the passenger games??? NEVER!! Lol
We still got two games in (Balloons Card Game and Guess That Tune) and won 8 Regent points. But one of the reasons we missed some games was our good friends Bo and Sherpa planed an afternoon get together with all the Kruger Shalati Safari folks to share photos and reminisce.
And darn didn’t it get my Safari itch going and now I need to scratch it! Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Uganda, South Africa… so many choices!! But it was a great time and we all enjoyed catching up and trading stories and photos. So fun!
There was a 5:45 Pre-Dinner show by the Regent Singers called “Broadway Unplugged” so of course we went to see our four good friends, Isma, Annie, Lachlan and Brennan. I think now we’ve seen that show five times but it really does keep getting better as they refine their craft!
After the show we went to dinner at Compass Rose and it felt good getting back to our servers Apple and Marjorie. For dinner I had the Shrimp and Zucchini Risotto for my appetizer and the Local Cape Hake Filet for my main. I skipped dessert but included food pics!
After dinner we went to the Horizon Lounge to listen to the Arista Duo host the Rock Legends Party. Nothing like listening to some great Rock music floating along the coast of Africa! Tomorrow we’re in Cotonou, Benin and you guessed it… it’s a new port for us! Hope everyone had a great day!
