Hi Gang! We finished our sea day hat trick today! Three sea days of fun games, great food, great service and great entertainment. Can’t beat it! We even added a new activity which was a fashion show since our good friend Christy was in it.
But of course we got our passenger games in. We played Roll-A-Ball, Top Toss, Indoor Bocce, and the Crazy 8’s card game. We won 4 Regent points (YAY)! But no Officer’s Challenge due to the fashion show. Oh well, hopefully on the next sea day.
But the fashion show was Mah-velous! Not only was Christy in it but also Marisol, who we had dinner with last night, as well as our entertainer friends Margaret, Annie, Ashley and Rheagan as well as our good friends Helen, who is on our floor, and Sandy, who we’ve gotten to know well with her fiancé Don and who we had dinner with tonight.
And who can forget Nate & Allen, the world cruise Enrichment Ambassadors as well as Matthew the assistant cruise director. They were modeling all the accessories (watches, rings and handbags) but not the clothes. The clothes were all their own and they all looked stunning! Very fun!!
The Pre-Dinner event at 6 PM was the Seven Seas Society Cocktail Party event. That’s where they acknowledge all their loyal guests (like us!). They mentioned the number of passengers from each loyalty level on the ship from lowest to highest as follows: 250 silver, 198 gold, 76 Platinum, 38 Titanium, 8 Diamond, and 2 commodore. Also our good friends and Regent entertainers Annie and Ashley sang a few songs. It was a very nice event!
After that we went to dinner at Compass Rose with a big group of friends. We never miss going to CR on Seven Seas Society night since that’s the only night they serve my favorite dish, the Miso Glazed Sea Bass. So for dinner I had the Porcini Risotto for my appetizer and of course the Miso Glazed Sea Bass for my main. And again no dessert for me (I’m trying)! Everything was delicious as always! But sorry again, no food pics!
After dinner we went to the show which was the guest entertainer group we saw the other night called “This One’s For You”. At their last show they sang all Elton John but this time they sang songs they both did on Broadway and the London’s West End. They did songs from Le Mis, Phantom, Jersey Boys and others. They also added stories about themselves. It was a really great show!
After the show we went to the Horizon Lounge to listen to the Arista Duo play some Rock songs. They sang Queen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and many others. It was so fun and a nice way to finish the night. Kathy and I took turns wearing the Singer’s Freddy Mercury Queen hat for some silly pics! Tomorrow we are in the Seychelles. Never been there but it’s supposed to be beautiful! Hope everyone had a great day!
