Hi All! We sadly left the Taj Mahal and made our way to Goa, India to meet back up with the ship. We started early again waking up at 6:30 and left the hotel at 7:30 AM. We took the bus to the airport where our flight left at 10:30 AM. Once again made it thru security without issue.
Our flight was fairly smooth and landed in Goa at 12:45 PM. Again we got our luggage with no issue, boarded the bus and made it to the pier by 2:30 PM. As I always say, Regent makes you feel like family because when we boarded they had a red carpet for us, the Captain, General Manager, and Cruise Directors all greeted us and a portion of the staff was there clapping and welcoming us back. So sweet!
We got back to our room and got ready for a 5 PM party we were invited to. Our good friends Colleen and Steve hosted a party for a few world cruisers from this year and some world cruisers from last year who just joined in Singapore. It was nice to meet folks from last year’s world cruise!
After the party it was nice to go back to our old table in Compass Rose and see Dennis our regular waiter and his assistant Marjorie. We missed them!
For dinner I tried to eat a little lighter and had a Wedge Salad for my appetizer and the Broiled King Filet for my main. I even skipped dessert! That heat the last few days took it out of me so hopefully I can keep up the lighter eating.
After dinner we went to the show which was a guest entertainment vocal group named “This One’s For You”. Direct from their residency in the heart of London’s West End, they offer four internationally recognized shows. This show is their tribute to Elton John. They are two world class vocalists who sang many of Elton John’s greatest hits. It was such a great show!
After the show we called it a night since we were pretty tired after our 3 day overland tour. Hope everyone had a great day!
PS: Can you believe we’ve been on for 100 days?? We can’t!! Felt like two weeks!
