Hi Again Gang! Wash, Rinse, Repeat… another great night on Regent. We started the evening with dinner in the French themed restaurant named Chartreuse. We had dinner with our good friends Colleen and Steve. I’ve always said Colleen and Steve are one of the main reason we’re on this world cruise.
When we were on our “test drive” of the Mariner last year on the first leg of the 2025 world cruise, they took us under their wing and introduced us to lots of world cruisers. They gave us many great tips on being on a world cruise as well as packing for a world cruise. We kept in touch with them over the last year and they answered lots of questions we had leading up to this cruise. So THANK YOU Colleen and Steve for helping us decide on this amazing adventure! (Now can you please help us pay for it???? Lol).
It’s funny, in the past Chartreuse was not always our favorite restaurant venue but we now like it very much. For dinner I had both the Escargot and the Mushroom Soup for my appetizers. For my main I had the Filet of Halibut and for dessert I had the Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brûlée. Everything was excellent and I finally included some food pics (with approval from Colleen! Lol).
After dinner we went to the show which was the harmonica player named Sharene. Her show was called “Songs You Love, Played Ways You Won’t Believe”. She can really make that harmonica sing and she played some classic songs like “It’s a Wonderful World”. It was such a great show!
After the show we called it a night since we have a very early excursion tomorrow. We are docked tomorrow in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Another new port for us! Hope everyone had a great day!
