Hi Again Folks! We had another fun evening of good food and entertainment. Tonight was the final dressy night so we cleaned up and put on our Sunday bests and went to dinner in the main dining room.
For my first appetizer I started with one of our favorites which was Escargot. Then had the Cream of Four Mushroom Soup for my second appetizer. For my main I had the Dried-Cherry and Thyme Coated Salmon. I ended the meal with a Warm Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. Everything was so yummy! But I was so hungry I forgot to take pics of my appetizers!
After dinner we went to the show which was the vocalist from the other night named Bailey Purvis. They call her the Country Queen and she sang songs from the likes of Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks and George Strait among others. She again had everyone up dancing in the aisles (or should I say Boot Scootin’ Boogieing)! And she wears lots of bling and her mom makes her costumes!
After the show we listened to both the Rock Classics from the band in the Rolling Stone Lounge as well as the piano player who refers to herself as “The Girl Named Jake”. Her name is Jake and she said her dad really wanted a boy so he named her Jake. Go figure!
We then called it a night. Tomorrow we are at their private island in the Bahamas called Half Moon Cay. Hope everyone had a great Thursday!
