Hi All! We had a relaxing sea day today and boy did we need it! We’ve had four straight days of getting up early and being out on excursions most of those days so we enjoyed a day of being LAZY! I told you this vacationing is not for the faint of heart! But we love every minute of it!
We literally did almost nothing today but sleep in, eat lunch and chill. That’s it! Love it!! But then we had to get ready to eat again so we got cleaned up and went to dinner. Tonight was dressy night so we put on our Sunday bests and headed to the main dining room. I had the Escargot for an appetizer, the Parmesan Crusted Sea Bass for my main and the Dark Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. Love the dressy night menu!
We actually went to dinner early tonight so we could go to both shows of the guest singer from the other night named Angie Narayan. Her voice was so good. Tonight her show was called “Legends of Soul”. I love the Motown music and she sang songs from legends like Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.
But a weird thing happened. The boat was really rocking tonight and we got to the first show and the cruise director came out on the stage and said Angie was feeling seasick and couldn’t do the first show but would try to do her second show at 9 PM. So we came back and she felt well enough and did an amazing performance! We all gave her a standing ovation!
After the show we listened to Kelly play piano and called it a night. Tomorrow we are docked in Kobe, Japan but are doing a 10 hour tour to Kyoto since we did Kobe on our last segment. So excited to visit Kyoto but a little sad that this will be our last port! Oh well, we’ll just have to come back! Hope everyone had a great day!
