Hi Gang! It pains me to write these words… but today marks the start of our 7 day countdown! (BOO!!). Can you believe it’s gone by this fast?? God help those poor souls that read every day of my blog for the last 5 months. You are truly saints! Actually if my mom was still alive she’d probably have been the only one that read them all!
But enough of the negative Nelly talk… on to another glorious sea day (and strap on your seat belts cause we got 4 in a row coming!). So we pretty much kept our normal routine going, which is fun games, great entertainment, delicious food and awesome service. You can’t beat it! Do we have to go home???
As for the games, we played four which were Ring Toss, Giant Darts (Officer’s Challenge), High Handed Dice Game, and Guess That Tune. We won 10 Regent points (YAY!) but lost to the Officers (BOO!). Oh well, we got a few more sea days to beat them again!
Tonight we had a 5:45 PM show which was one our favorite shows of the entire cruise which is the Variety Show put on by our good friends from the Entertainment Team. This is a show they put together and choreographed themselves. It lets them showcase all their talents. It once again was amazing!
Speaking of the entertainment team, we had dinner in Compass Rose with two of them, our good friends G and Margaret who are both dancers. G is originally from France but now lives in the UK, and Margaret is from Florida. They are amazing on stage and I’ve told them before they should be in Cirque du Soleil! (Check out the pics!). But they are also two of the nicest people you will ever meet!
As for dinner, along with our great conversation, I snuck in some great food. We had a special order of the Miso-Glazed Sea Bass which was sooo tasty. I coupled that with appetizers of both the Shanghai-Style Dumplings and the Tuna Tataki. For dessert I had the Chocolate Mousse. It was a great meal with great company!
It was such great company we didn’t get out of there until 10:15! So we went to the Horizon Lounge to dance some of those calories off! Tomorrow is another sea day (YAY!) and we get an extra hour’s sleep back tonight (Double YAY!). Hope everyone had a great day!
