Hi Folks! Sea Day number two in a row and we’re loving it. You know our routine by now right? Lots of passenger games, great food, great service, great friends and great entertainment. What’s not to like? Maybe we’ll do another 154 days after this one??? Lol
As for passenger games we played Skittles, Axe Throwing (Officer’s Challenge), Crazy Eights, Guess That Tune, and Crazy Golf. We won 12 Regent Points (YAY!) but lost to the Officers (BOO!). Oh well, we’ll have lots more sea days to beat them!
There were two shows again today. The Pre-Dinner show at 5:45 PM was the guest entertainer singer from Singapore named Monique Lualhati. She once again did a great show and has a really strong and powerful voice. I understand why she’s Singapore’s favorite!
We then had dinner at Compass Rose. Remember I told you that we met Phyllis and Rick on this segment who were friends with Angela and Peter from the last segment? Well they joined us for dinner along with two of our friends who are Regent Singers, Lachlin and Isma. We all had a great dinner with lots of story telling and laughter. All four of them are such great people!
For dinner, I had the Mushroom Tart and the Tom Yum Goong (Thai Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup) for my appetizers. For my main I had the Barramundi Filet and for dessert I had the Creme Brûlée. Wow what a great meal and what great dinner mates! Fun, Fun, Fun! And again, sorry for no food pics but didn’t have time due to all the great dialogue.
We pretty much closed down Compass Rose and didn’t finish dinner until about 10:15 PM so we missed the Magician show. But that’s OK, the dinner entertainment was better! We then called it a night since the Arista Duo was off and so no dance music! Tomorrow we are in the port of Galle in the country of Sri Lanka! Can’t wait since it’s a new location for us!
