Hi All! Guess what?? Big day today!! We hit the slot machine for $10,000!!!! Can you believe it?? DON’T!!! April Fools! Lol (But don’t we wish!!).
But who needs the money when we’re on the most luxurious cruise line sailing thru the South China Sea en route to Cambodia. Not too shabby! We had another relaxing sea day with lots of passenger games. We played Ring Toss, Dutch Shuffleboard (Officer’s Challenge), a Dice Game, Baggo, and Crazy Golf. We won 8 Regent points and beat the Officers. YAY!
In the evening we had a Regent Seven Seas Society “Top Tier” Cocktail Soirée (Lah-Tee-Dah!) where our good friend G , the performer who we had dinner with the other night, had his own show. He’s a dancer, but has a fantastic voice and sang all his songs in both English and French. We are so happy for him that he got his own show and so proud of him that he did so well.
After his show, we had dinner in Compass Rose with another entertainer Brennan Wood. Brennan is the other male lead singer and is from Chantilly, VA. He graduated from the University of Arizona and prior to cruise ships he performed in regional theaters and amusement parks. He also enjoys playing guitar and once played with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters. How cool!
For dinner I had both a Caesar Salad and the Spicy Tuna Maki for my appetizers. For my main I had the Snapper. For dessert I had the Soufflé. Sorry, no pics again due to the fun conversations with Brennan!
After dinner we went to the show which was a guest entertainer named Mikey Votano. His show is called “The Modern Vintage” where he brings a modern twist to the timeless classic songs. He played both the piano and the sax and had a high energy show. It was really fun!
After the show we called it a night since we wanted to start getting organized for our Overland Tour to Angkor Wat on Friday. On Thursday we’re in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Hope everyone had a great day!
