World Cruise – Regent Seven Seas Mariner – 154 Days – Sea Day – Day 53 – Final Pics!

Hi Folks! You know how we love our sea days. It’s funny because we’ve turned into these competitive people that love playing all the passenger games. And today was no different. But they are so fun!

We played Ring Toss, Axe Throwing (Officer’s Challenge), and Baggo. We won 5 Regent points (YAY!) and beat the Officers (Double YAY!). There’s that competitive nature coming out again! Lol

For lunch, Kathy got invited to a special all woman’s luncheon (not fair! what about us men?). It was to honor several of the women currently on the ship that will be getting off in two days in Auckland, New Zealand. 

Those women were Jemma, the Social Host, Cultural Ambassador June (that we did the bracelets and leis with), and Guest Speakers Sherry Hutt and Ann Burgess. Kathy said it was a great luncheon!

In the late afternoon we just chilled and caught some rays. But then got ready for an early 5:45 PM Pre-Dinner show. It was called the Seven Seas Mariner Variety Show. Not only did it include the Regent Singers and Dancers but also the “Mariner Choir” which was passengers volunteering to sing (definitely not us!!). It was such a fun show and the Regent Singers and Dancers even tapped danced. They are all so talented!

We then had dinner at Compass Rose. I had the Baby Squid Salad for my appetizer and the Latin Spiced Grouper Filet for my main. For dessert I had the Peanut Butter Crunch Bar. The entire meal was so tasty!

After dinner we went to the show which was the guest entertainer named Deryn Trainer. He once again sang songs from Elton John and Billy John and was really good. Who doesn’t love that music?

After the show we crashed. We lose another hour sleep tonight to get us on New Zealand time. Hope everyone had a great day!
