Hi again Gang! Well the second leg of the journey started off just as good as the first. Good food, good service and good entertainment.
We ate at Compass Rose again tonight. And I jumped back on the lobster and seafood train to kick off the second leg. Had the lobster tail with the ribeye for the main and had escargot and black mussels for starters. The food is always great at Compass Rose and we got our same table and same waiters. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
After dinner we went to the show, which was the same show they had on the first night of our last leg. It’s an overview of all the shows they’ll have this cruise and as before it was really good. They have all the same singers and dancers back so I know the shows will be good.
After the show we listened to Mark play the piano. What’s nice is he mixes up all the music he plays so it’s never the same music set. There’s something really comforting about getting back on the ship for the second leg and knowing all the waiters, the entertainers, the cruise director, etc. Feels like old home week!
Tomorrow we stay in Greece (what, not a new country??). But we stop in a new port we’ve never been to named Volos. Should be fun! Hope everyone had a great Thursday! Still praying for all the folks in Florida impacted by Hurricane Milton. So sad. Stay strong!
