Well today was our last sea day and while it was sunny, it was a little chilly so we pretty much hung out inside and did lots of ship activities. We played some trivia, listened to lots of music, watched a little of the Panthers game (they actually beat the Falcons?), caught the evening show, did a fun ABBA Sing Along, and of course got all three meals in along with some snacks.
Tonight was formal night but not too many people get real dressed up anymore. I did see one guy in a Tux but that’s rare nowadays. With formal night usually comes lobster night at dinner which we both had along with some Beef Wellington (gotta do the surf and turf!).
But the most fun we had was listening to our favorite music duo called “Strings Attached”. They were playing three different times today and we went each time. Yes, you can say we are getting “Attached” to them (pun intended!). We even took our picture with them. They are from the Philippines and have been on the ship since June and will finish up on Nov 26th in time to be home with their family for the holidays. We’re going to follow them on Instagram so we can continue to listen to their music. I wish I could post a video to my blog so you could hear how good they are.
Tomorrow we are in Ensenada and are doing another ship excursion. It should be fun. Hope everyone on the East Coast isn’t impacted too heavily by Hurricane Nicole. Stay safe and try to stay dry!
