Hi Gang! We’re back in Thailand for the last time for this cruise and we were docked in the city of Phuket. Phuket is Thailand’s largest island in the Andaman Sea, renowned for 15+ stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, amazing food and Sino-Portuguese architecture in Phuket’s Old Town. It even has an island off the coast called James Bond island because it was the filming location for the 1974 007 movie, “The Man with the Golden Gun”, starring Roger Moore.
Today we did a tour called Phuket Landmarks. We started off with a drive to Phromthep Cape with beautiful views over the water. We then went to Chalong Temple, the most important of the 29 Buddhist temples. After that we went to a Chinese shrine. We finished our tour by driving thru Old Town Phuket. We got back about 3 PM and chilled and got ready for dinner. I’ll do another update tonight.
