Hi Gang! Can’t believe we’ve been on this cruise for 3 months! We’re loving every minute of it and looking forward to the remaining 64 days! Today we were docked again in Singapore. Since we saw most of the city yesterday, we decided to explore the island of Sentosa today. It is just south of mainland Singapore.
We spent most of the morning and part of the early afternoon covering a lot of Sentosa. We started by taking the monorail from our cruise terminal over to Sonesta Island. Our tour guide last night, Alfie, gave us this travel hack that we used. Once we got to Sonesta (which only cost us $4!), all the buses and trams were free!
So we took the beach tram up and down all the beaches. Then took Bus A all over the Eastern side of the island and Bus B all over the Western side of the island. What a fun day of exploring for only 4 bucks!
We also walked thru the Sentosa Sensoryscape (free!) which had six sensory gardens that blend nature with architecture. It was really cool and I included a few pics.
We then took the monorail back to the cruise terminal and boarded the ship. We got a late lunch and then chilled in the late afternoon. I’ll do an update later tonight.
PS: We saw this Monitor Lizard cross our path and I swore it was a baby Komodo Dragon!
