Hi Again Gang! You know it’s so nice when you’re cruising and you meet great people. Well we had dinner with those great people tonight. If you remember a few weeks ago, I told you about a woman who came to our dinner table and knew Kathy and I from my blog. And then they invited us to their suite for happy hour. Remember them?
They are Angela and Peter from Melbourne, Australia and we had a nice long dinner together tonight in Compass Rose. They too love Regent like us and are doing a few more Regent cruises over the next few years. We’re hoping we can cruise with them again!
They sadly are leaving us in a few days in Singapore but the funny part is they know two people coming on in Singapore named Rick and Phyllis, who they’ve told them about Kathy and I and my blog and we’ll hope to meet them too!
For dinner I had both Chilled Prawns and the Tom Kha Gai Soup (which uses chicken, coconut milk, galangal and lemongrass) for my appetizers. For my main I had the Pomfret Filet and for dessert I had the Creme Brûlée. Everything was delicious but sorry no pics. Too much great conversation!
After dinner we went to the show which was the guest entertainer from the other night named Mikey Votano. He’s a high energy guy who plays sax, piano and sings. He did songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Such a fun show!
We then called it a night since we lose an hour’s sleep tonight. The good news is tomorrow is a sea day and the better news is the day after that we’re in the beautiful city of Singapore! Hope everyone had a great day!
