Hi Again Gang! On these Regent sponsored overland tours, they treat us just as nice as Regent. Our guide met us all in the lobby at 6:45 PM and we took the bus to an open air hotel to watch a group of people simulate various Cambodian chores. When we got there we got another welcoming gift of a Krama scarf! (Anybody want one??? Lol).
They simulated things like harvesting rice, catching fish, and grinding grain. We also walked thru this serpentine path that normally only the King is allowed on. But since we were from Regent, they let us! Lol.
We then walked a little further to this open air restaurant where they served us this delicious 6 course meal. The presentations were really cool. While we were eating they performed a traditional Cambodian show acting out various scenes.The show was very well done!
We then came back to the hotel and crashed since we have a very early day tomorrow. On to Angkor Wat!! Hope everyone had a great day!
