Hi Again Gang! We had another exceptional night on Regent. We started with dinner at Compass Rose with two of the ladies from the Entertainment Team. We had dinner with Annie Urmanski (one of the main singers) and Ashley Blunden (a singer/dancer).
Annie is from Charlottesville, VA and graduated from James Madison University. She gained her experience in musicals, operas, and a cappellas. When not performing she enjoys traveling.
Ashley is from Sydney, Australia and began training in dance, singing and acting from a very young age. She’s done performances at Universal Studios in Japan, as well as performed in The Wizard of Oz and Annie. While not at sea she enjoys traveling, baking and spending time with her puppy, Ellie.
They both are such great people and are also great singers and dancers. It’s been so fun being on the ship this long which allows us to get so close with the staff. I feel like they’re all our extended family!
The food at Compass Rose was once again delicious. I started with both the Snow Crab Summer Roll as well as the Pho Ga (Vietnamese Chicken Soup) for my appetizers. For my main I had the Thit Ko Tau (Vietnamese Caramelized Braised Pork). For dessert I had the Kahlua Coffee Soufflé. Due to all our talking I didn’t take any food pics!
We were having so much fun at dinner we ended up being very late for the show. It was a Comedian named Simon Palomeres. He’s from Australia and is best known as a creator and star of the groundbreaking TV series Acropolis Now. He had some pretty funny lines and most of his comedy was based on things that happen on cruise ships. We’ll probably go see his next show to hear his whole routine.
After the show we went to the Horizon Lounge to dance the night away with the Arista Duo. Tomorrow is a sea day so we stayed up late! Hope everyone had a great day!
PS: We saw a unique sunset as we sailed away from Vietnam.
