Good Morning Vietnam! (You guys knew I just had to say that, right?? Lol). But actually we didn’t get here in the morning and didn’t dock until 1 PM. And we docked an hour and a half away from Ho Chi Minh City in a port named Hiep Phoc Village. So maybe I should have said Good Afternoon Hiep Phoc Village! Lol
This was sort of a half sea day and half port day since our excursion was called “An Evening Out in Saigon” and we didn’t leave until 5:45 PM. So what did we do? Play passenger games, of course! We played Top Toss and Tic-Tac-Throw and won 7 Regent points!
We also went to a special Morning Piano Concerto by our very own Regent Signature Orchestra piano player named Mario Parmisano. We have gotten to know Mario and he is not only an excellent piano player but is such a humble and nice person.
He is a world renowned jazz pianist and this is his first time playing on a cruise ship and we were lucky to have him on our world cruise. Sadly his contract is up and he leaves the ship tomorrow. He will be missed!
We then got ready for our evening excursion. I’ll do another update later tonight.
