Hi All! Today was another glorious sea day. I wonder how many sea days we’ve had so far?? Or better yet, how many Regent points we’ve won? Not enough for a free cruise that’s for sure!
Speaking of games and points, we played Skittles, High Rollers (Officer’s Challenge), Axe Throwing, and Shuffle Golf. We won 6 Regent points and we beat the Officers. YAY!! Later I swung by the chocoholic afternoon tea just to take pictures of all the chocolate treats. Yeah, riiiight!! Lol
They had an early event at 6 PM which was the Captain’s Farewell Reception and the Krew Kapers show. We still have a couple days before the end of this segment in Bali but this was the last sea day before then so they decided to do the farewell tonight.
As you may remember, the Krew Kapers is a fun show put on entirely by all the various crew members from all their different countries. Not only is there great singers but they share some of their cultural dances. It’s always a great show!
After that we went to dinner in Compass Rose with our good friends Diane and Warren. They are from the gorgeous city of Vancouver, Canada. We’ll actually be flying thru there later this summer on our way home from our Alaska/Denali National Park trip. Hmmmm… maybe we’ll stay at their place?? Lol
For dinner (sorry no pics again!), I had the Lobster Risotto for my appetizer and the Grilled Barramundi Filet for my main. And believe or not I skipped dessert again. I was just showing off my willpower to our friends. Lol.
After dinner we went to the show which was the guest entertainer Andy Joy from the other night. He was the one who played all the various instruments and tonight he again played a lot of instruments but did mostly songs from Billy Joel, Elton John and Australia’s own, Peter Allen. Another great show!
We ended the night at the Horizons lounge listening to the Arista Duo. Tomorrow we are at Komodo Island in Indonesia to visit the world’s largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon. Cool stuff! Hope everyone had a great day!
PS: Today was Kathy’s lucky day! She won the slot machine tournament at the casino!! I can’t tell you how much she won or the IRS may come after us! Lol
