Hi Gang! Today was part sea day part port day. We docked at Darwin, Australia but not until 6 PM. And since they were doing the Grand Deck Dinner BBQ Party tonight we didn’t get off the boat in the evening but will explore Darwin tomorrow.
Being part sea day of course we played some passenger games! We played Roll-A-Ball, Axe Throwing (Officer’s Challenge), Top Toss, and Name That Tune. We won 11 Regent points (highest one day total so far!) and beat the Officers! Double YAY!
For dinner we went to the Grand Deck Dinner BBQ and it was an outdoor feast! Lobster, Lamb Chops, Barramundi, Suckling Pig, and so much more. The food was so good. We sat with our good friends Colleen and Steve as well as the Restaurant Manger Francisco’s wife and daughter (Amelia & Sydney).
After all the eating festivities we stayed around for the evening fun activities. They had a “Rock the Boat Dance Party” under the stars with the Regent singers performing along with the orchestra. That boat was a rockin’! It was so fun.
We then called it a night. We’re overnight here in Darwin and will explore during the day tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great day!
PS: We got lucky and just missed Cyclone Narelle, which is a few days behind us. It’s a Category 5 Cyclone with 15 inches of rain and 155 mile per hour winds. Ouch!
