Hi Again Gang! We had a fun night starting with a trip to what’s normally the Italian Specialty restaurant, Sette Mari at La Veranda, that was converted to a Truck Stop Diner tonight. Now tell me, who doesn’t like a good diner?? It’s pure Americana!
It was a buffet so you could belly up to the bar and eat as much as you want. Ouch! With starters like Deviled Eggs, mains like Smash Burgers, Southern Fried Chicken, Ribs and Mac & Cheese, a Hot Dog Station, Chicken Wings and desserts like Oreo Churros and Sea Salt Chocolate Fudge Brownies, what could go wrong?? Maybe your waist line?? Lol
Of course we tried a little of all of it and it was really tasty. We have a couple sea days coming up so we can hit the gym to work off the junk food!
They didn’t have a show tonight so we went to the Disco Fever party where they played all the disco music from the 70’s. All they needed was a spinning disco ball! It was really fun!
We then called it a night. Tomorrow we have a sea day. YAY! Hope everyone had a great day!
PS: Of course the highlight of the night was FaceTiming with the grandkids!! Love those guys!
