Hi Folks! Well we had another WRR day. You know… Wash, Rinse, Repeat! Lol. I’m not even going to write out our high level sea day activities since we’re such creatures of habit, and you know them all, but I will give you the details!
As to the passenger games, we played Baggo, Roll-A-Ball (Officer’s Challenge), and Axe Throwing. We won 3 Regent points and beat the officers! We would have done a 4th game but we opted to see the Magician from last night. He did a workshop on his magic and taught us some magic tricks. Don’t think I’ll remember them 3 months from now to show you all!
Tonight was country music night. The 5:45 PM Pre-Dinner show was Patrick McMahon from the other night with a show called Americana. He played road tested country classics from the highways of America. Once again great toe tapping music!
After that we had dinner in Chartreuse, the French themed restaurant. I shouldn’t but I always eat big at the specialty restaurants (but I skipped dessert so that helped a little!). I had three appetizers (yes I did!). The Lobster Medallions, the Escargot and the Cream of Mussels Soup. For my main I had the Grilled Salmon. “C’etait delicieux”! (It was all delicious!).
After dinner we went to the second country music show called Blazing Boots by the Regent Singers and Dancers. Of course we’ve seen this show on prior segments but always love going to it for both the great music and to support all our friends in the cast.
I forgot to mention it but a few days ago, one of the dancers (Neil) had to leave the ship due to a minor injury. They are all so professional and had to quickly relearn some of the dance moves with one less dancer. You can’t even tell since they’re all so smooth!
After the show we called it a night since we have an early excursion tomorrow. We’ll be in Airlie Beach, Australia and we’re going to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef! I luckily got to do that a few years back with my daughter but this will be Kathy’s first time. Truly a bucket list item! Hope everyone had a great day!
