Hi All! Did I tell you we like sea days?? Lol. Like life at home, we’ve gotten into our rhythm on sea days. We played four passenger games which were Skittles, Axe Throwing, Top Toss, and Crazy Golf. We won three Regent points but lost to the Officers (of course, they have home field advantage!).
They had a Pre-Dinner show at 5:45 PM of the Irish Celtic Gra group from the other night. They once again did fun Irish music and had everyone singing along.
We then had dinner in Compass Rose with two of the Regent singers. Russell, a singer/dancer from London, has done Bye Bye Birdie, 42nd Street, and Sleeping Beauty, among others. Emmanuelle (who goes by Em) is a dancer from Argentina. He has done many famous ballets and has danced on various different cruise lines. They are both great people!
For dinner (I kept it classy and didn’t take any food pics!) I had both the Panko-Coated Tiger Prawns and the Creamy Corn & Poblano Soup for my starters as well as the Alaskan Halibut for my main. For dessert I had the Malva Pudding. As always, everything was delicious!
After dinner, we went to the one man show of our good friend and Regent Head Singer, Lachlan Griffith. He’s from Australia and his show was called “Broadway Downunda”. He sang lots of Broadway hits with a nod to Australia that he tied into key moments along his career path. It was a fantastic show! A nice bonus was that his parents (and his girlfriend Isma, a Regent lead singer we’ve also gotten to know well) were in the audience and had to be so proud!
After the show we called it a night since we have an early event tomorrow when we get to the iconic city of Sydney, Australia. While I spent a couple weeks here a few years back, Kathy has never been here so I’m looking forward to showing her the city and its surroundings. Hope everyone had a great day!
