Hi Again Folks! Yep, another great night on Regent. But tonight was EXTRA special! We got invited to have dinner with the brand new President of Regent, Wes D’Silva. What’s more impressive is this is his first full night on the ship so we were the first to be invited to have dinner with him (Lah-Tee-Dah!).
He’ll be on the ship for the next 5 days and wants to hear feedback from lots of people. I believe he’s also having a town hall in a few days. It was such a nice dinner and he seems like a great guy who is doing his best to make Regent even better. We also were fortunate to have Norbert, the General Manager dine with us as well as our good friends Colleen, Steve, Terry and Don.
Our dinner was at Compass Rose and the food was once again spectacular (with the President there, did you expect anything less?? Lol). Of course I didn’t take pics of the menu or food but did get a group pic. I had the Mushroom Risotto for my starter, the Cobia Filet for my main and the Kailua Soufflé for my dessert. What a feast!
After dinner we went to the show which was a Guest Entertainer named Shelley White. She’s a five time winner of the Australian Vocal Entertainer of the Year. She is both a vocalist and pianist and had a really strong voice. She played lots of Elton John, Movie Classics and even played the entire Bohemian Rhapsody from Queen. What a great show!
After the show we called it a night since we have a very early excursion tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great day!
