World Cruise – Regent Seven Seas Mariner – 154 Days – Pago Pago, American Samoa – Day 42 – Pics Part 1!

Friday Feb 20, 2026

Hi All! Today we were docked at the port of Pago Pago in American Samoa. It’s actually pronounced “Pango Pango” since in Samoan the g sounds like an “ng”. And this is an American Territory so we were sorta back in the USA!

Today we did two excursions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the morning we did “Village Way of Life”. We stopped at a couple photo stops then to a village to watch a local traditional dance. The main photo stop was Fatu Ma Futi which was two rocks in the water they call flower pot rock.

In the afternoon we did “Samoan Cultural Experience” which also had a few photo stops on the other end of the island as well as stopping at an “Ava Ceremony” which was all in Samoan and very interesting to watch. Our main photo stop was to Camel Rock which was a rock that looks like a camel. Go figure!

We then got back onboard and got ready for dinner. I’ll do another update later. Happy TGIF!
