Hi Gang! We had another sea day today but we didn’t do our usual routine. Gotta shake it up a little. So I took the morning to do some administrative stuff, pay some bills and start on our first segment’s photo book. I make a photo book of all our trips so rather than wait till the end (since all 154 days wouldn’t fit in one book!), I thought I’d do one book per segment. So today I started on the Miami to Honolulu segment.
Kathy did a fun napkin folding class and after lunch we snuck in a game of Baggo and won a Regent point. Then later in the afternoon we both got crafty and did another Polynesian lei but this time it had bead names from our upcoming ports. This time it was much easier for me (heck, maybe I am crafty after all?? Not! Lol).
Regent had a pre-dinner event just for all the World Cruisers called “A Celebration of French Polynesia”. We got dressed up in our island gear, wore our leis and boogied down to the island rhythms. It was a fun party!
After that we went to dinner in Compass Rose. We had dinner again with our two favorite Regent singers, Isma and Lachlan. They are the nicest people! I got the special Escargot and the Risotto for my two appetizers and the Branzino Filet for my main. For dessert I had the special Chocolate Bombe.
After dinner we went to the show which was a guest entertainer named Tim Ellis. He is a magician from Australia and wowed us with his amazing magic.
After the show we stopped in at the “Pop Party” with the Regent Signature Orchestra playing famous pop tunes. We called it a night since we have two excursions tomorrow in Pago Pago in American Samoa. Can’t wait! Hope everyone had a great Thursday!
