Hi Again All! We had another fun night with lots of activities. We started by going to the Krew Kapers show and the Farewell Reception. Since another segment of people will be leaving the ship in a few days, and new ones will board, the Captain said farewell to those leaving. The crew also did their show to thank all the guests. That show always impresses me with the talent there is amongst the crew. So fun to watch them shine!
After the show we had dinner in Compass Rose. We had invited Arturo and Brando, who work at Reception and are always so patient and answer all our questions, to join us for dinner. They are so nice and have such interesting stories to share.
We actually met Arturo last year on Regent’s Navigator ship and he speaks Russian, French, Spanish and English and has been to so many places around the world. He’s originally from Mexico but went to college in Russia! How crazy is that??
And Brando is originally from the country of Columbia but believe it or not his new home town is Charlotte, NC. Small world! He too has traveled extensively and before Regent had worked on Holland America and when we compared travel notes, we think we too had been on the same Holland ship at the same time! Another small world item.
After dinner we went to the show which was called “Blazing Boots”. It’s the Regent Singers and Dancers doing all country music. While we saw it the last segment, we went again to support the cast and because we love the show. It gets your boots tapping!
After the show they had a Dance Party with all music from the 70’s. The dance floor was packed and it was a fun way to end the day! Tomorrow we’re in Raiatea in French Polynesia, another piece of paradise! Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
