Hi Gang! Yep, you guessed it… wash, rinse, repeat! We’re on the 2nd of 5 sea days so we… slept in a little, got a workout in at the gym, ate great food, played some fun games, caught a few rays and saw a great show! And we got out of Hawaii just in time… they are getting 7 straight days of rain, high winds and 12 inches of snow up on the summit of Mauna Kea where we were a few days ago. Crazy!! The weather Gods have been good to us!
As for the passenger games we played Skittles, Baggo (Officers Challenge), and Roll-A-Ball. We won 6 Regent points (YAY!) and beat the Officers (Double YAY!).
After the games we did a craft class (yes, I did a craft class!) and made Polynesian leis. Our friend June, who is Polynesian and lives on our hall and who we met at the Block Party, was the leader of the craft class. Kathy thought it was fun (I didn’t! Lol) but we ended up with two nice leis. I included a pic!
We went to a new venue for dinner tonight but it was not their normal food. We went to Sette Mari at La Veranda which is normally an Italian themed restaurant but every once in a while, since this is a World Cruise, they change up the menu. Tonight it was a “Truck Stop Diner Buffet”! Who doesn’t like truck stop food?? Lol. We’re talking smash burgers, hot dogs, Southern Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese and Ribs. Now that’s good eatin’! And yep we tried one of each!
After dinner we went to the show by the Regent Singers and Dancers called Tuxedo. We saw it during the first segment but love going to the shows and supporting our friends from the cast. And we love the music… songs from the Great American Songbook, the Rat Pack and lots more. It was a fun show!
After the show we listened to some late night jazz by the Regent Signature Orchestra and then called it a night. Tomorrow is another sea day! Hope everyone had a great Saturday!
