Hi Again All! We had another great night. Started off with dinner at the French Specialty restaurant Chartreuse. I had the Escargot and the Mussels (Best ever!) for my starters and Beef Bourguignon for my main. For dessert I had the French Cheese plate. Once again, everything was delicious (especially the Mussels!!).
We’ve gotten to be friends with the Maitre’d there, Vishnu, who is the twin brother of Shambu who is the Maitre’d of the other Specialty resultant, Prime 7. They both deliver excellent customer service and are the nicest people.
After dinner we went to the show. It was a guest entertainer named Trigg Watson who was a Comedian/Magician. He is originally from Australia but now lives in the US. He uses all kinds of cool technology to do these incredible magic acts. Just how did he put that dollar bill inside that orange?? Crazy!
After the show we ended our evening listening to the Regent Signature Orchestra play hits from the 70’s. Knew all the songs so it was fun. Tomorrow we have a sea day… then another… then another… we actually have 5 straight sea days to get from Hawaii to Tahiti (French Polynesia). But we’re used to 5 back to back sea days so we can handle it! And can’t wait to get to Tahiti, another island paradise!
We’re sad leaving our little slice of paradise in the Hawaiin islands where we spent the last 8 days. We really learned what the spirit of Aloha means. It’s a Hawaiin philosophy of life centered on love, compassion, and mutual respect, often described as the “coordination of mind and heart”. We really felt it and hope you all one day can get to Hawaii and experience that same wonderful feeling!
