Hi Again Gang! Tonight was amazing! Regent pulled out all the stops for an exclusive World Cruise event. They drove us all to this beautiful, historic plantation estate called Kilohana. Nestled amid 105 acres of lush gardens and tropical orchards lies a beautiful 1930’s manor. There was also a railway used during the time it was a sugar cane plantation and we got to ride it around the plantation.
After the train ride they had drinks and canapés aplenty for everyone. They started the evening with a beautiful Imu Blessing Ceremony and then we all were treated to a delicious buffet of Luau food.
After dinner, they put on a spectacular show telling a story that pays homage to a time of separation, a time of enduring courage, and a time of celebration and reuniting. The cast were all so passionate about each of their roles. There was also lots of twirling of fire involved which was quite the spectacle!
To top it all off, Regent had professional photographers there taking our pictures and at the end of the night they presented us all with framed pictures of what they had just taken. That was classy! Another reason why Regent is the best cruise line of them all!
Tomorrow we are still in Kauai and have an early, all day excursion. Can’t wait! Hope everyone had a great Monday!
