Hi Again Folks! Another great night on Regent. We went to the 6 PM show which was a folkloric local show. It was called “Halau Lilia Makanoe – A Family Legacy of Hula”. It featured Hawaiin music, legends, and dance. Regent brought on local professional dancers ages 6 and up who expressed their rich culture and heritage thru stories and songs. It was such a fun show! And the little 6 year old girl was a hoot!
After the show we went to Compass Rose for dinner. We had missed our regular server Dennis since we hadn’t been there for a few days. He thought we left! Lol. I had the Cream of Cauliflower & Potato Soup as well as the Mushroom Risotto for my starters. And the Creole-Style Grilled Mahi-Mahi for my main. For dessert I had the Kahlua Coffee Soufflé. All extra yummy!
After dinner they did not have a show but rather showed a movie and we went. It was Lilo & Stitch and we went since the grandkids love it and now we can discuss it with them!
After the movie we called it a night. We have an early excursion tomorrow. We’ll be in another Hawaiin island, Kaui, known as the Garden Isle, tomorrow so we’re very excited! Hope everyone had a great Sunday!
