World Cruise – Regent Seven Seas Mariner – 154 Days – Sea Day – 15 – Final Pics!

Saturday Jan 24, 2026

Hi Gang! As I said yesterday, this is the first day of our 5 day passage across the Pacific Ocean (dang it’s wide!). So of course we’ll be doing lots of washing’, rinsin’, and repeatin’! You all know our sea day routine by now. Slept in a little, got a workout in at the gym, ate great food, played some fun games, met new people from the southern states (new event), and saw a great show! (No education today).

As for the games, we played Roll-A-Ball, Skittles (Bowling) against the officers and Baggo. We won 3 Regent points (YAY!) but the Officers beat the passengers (BOO!). But it’s always fun.

The new event they had today was called “Where in the World Party”. They divided us all by region of the country/world and had all those people meet in various spots around the ship. Our group was all the southern US states so we met people from Arizona to Louisiana to Georgia. Of course the talk was not only about travel but also about this crazy winter storm affecting half the country. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

After that we went to dinner at Compass Rose. We got invited to have dinner with the General Manager of the Mariner, Norbert Tesar, along with three other couples (and one couple was from Charlotte!). We’ve gotten to know Norbert thru playing all the Officer games and he’s a really nice guy. We talked about everyone’s craziest cruise. Hilarious stories!

For dinner I got the Escargot as well as the Cream of Artichoke Soup for my starters and for my main I had the Spiced Branzino Filet. For dessert I had the Chocolate Fudge Rum Cake. Sorry guys no food pics tonight… ate with the General Manager so tried to keep it classy! Lol.

After dinner we went to the show. It was originally supposed to be “Broadway Unplugged” but two of the Regent singers were sick and couldn’t perform. So the Cruise Director Andrew did his own show of singing and telling his story of growing up in London and making his way to his current position. He sang some great music and had an interesting path to being a Cruise Director. (At one point he was a salami slicer! Lol).

After the show we ended the night listening to great jazz played by the Regent Signature Orchestra. Hope everyone had a great Saturday!

PS: The only pic I took today was a beautiful Pacific Ocean sunset. But we decided our mascot for this cruise will be that cute sea lion from yesterday so I zoomed in on just his face and included that too. Adorable!

Beautiful Pacific Ocean Sunset!
