Hi Again All! Well, we had another amazing evening (maybe lucky 7th day??). We had our “exclusive” event with the Captain which was where he presented us with our Platinum Level pin. Platinum is when you’ve sailed on Regent for anywhere from 200 to 399 days. I’ll let you guess where we’re at along that spectrum! But we were honored to be awarded our Platinum pin. Now we need to keep booking Regent cruises to get to the next level!
After the ceremony we attended a fun show called “Ultimate Music Trivia”. It’s a new show for Regent that had two 5 person passenger teams going head to head to guess different songs played by the Regent Singers and the Regent Orchestra. Even the audience participated. It was a blast!
We then went to dinner at Compass Rose. Our good friends Colleen and Steve, who we met on last year’s World Cruise, invited us to dinner along with their friends Terry and Don (who also were awarded their Platinum Level pin tonight). We had great food and great conversation with great friends. Such a great dinner! (And I tried to keep it classy so I didn’t take pictures of the menu and food. Sorry guys!)
After dinner we went to the show which was the singer from the other night named Nina Skyy. Her show tonight was called “All Around Motown”. She sang songs from The Temptations, Dianna Ross, Stevie Wonder, Aretha and many more. I love that music and you couldn’t help but dance in your chair!
We then called it a night since we have an early excursion tomorrow. We’re excited to be in Costa Rica for the first time! Hope everyone had a great Friday!
