Hi Again All! Tonight was Orange Night! On every cruise, Holland pays homage to the Dutch House of Orange and asks people to wear their orange. They also have an Orange Party with lots of orange liquor. So we wore our best orange duds. “Orange” you glad you’re not here! Lol
They also had some Dutch foods on the menu tonight. We ate in the main dining room and I started with the Green Pea Soup for my first appetizer and the Baby Shrimp Cocktail for my second appetizer. For my main I splurged and got the Fresh Caught Grouper from Iron Chef Morimoto. It was well worth it!
And I double splurged for desserts by trying two (yes, but just trying not finishing both!). I had both the Lindt Chocolate Tulip and the Lindt Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae. As I always say, you can’t get enough chocolate!
After dinner we went to the show which was a Hungarian Violinist named Bernadett Nyari. She was very high energy and made that violin scream. She played classics like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, “If I were a Rich Man” from Fiddler on the Roof and my favorite, the theme from The Godfather. She was very entertaining!
We then listened to the piano player play tunes from the 80’s. Caught a little bit of the Orange Party (there were lots of people wearing orange)! And we finished the night listening to the piano player do all requests. Tomorrow we have a sea day. Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
