Hi Folks! We are docked in Saint John today but you wouldn’t know it by us. Since we’ve both been here several times we didn’t even get off the ship! Since it was Sunday, you know the phrase… “Are you ready for some football?” We were!
We are both NFL football fanatics! And we love that Crystal showed 8 different games all on a big screen in several lounges (and on the in-room TV!). So we pretty much watched football all day, including the early morning game in London. It was a fun day of football!
After the afternoon games, we got ready for dinner (while watching football in our room!) and had dinner at Waterside. For my two starters I had the Lobster and Mushroom Strudel as well as a small portion of the Sweet and Sour Pork. For my main, I had the Seared Fresh Ahi Tuna and for dessert I had the Stout & Dark Chocolate. As always, everything was delicious!
After dinner we went to two shows along with watching a little football. The first show was called “Rock n Pop a Mania” and the Crystal Singers and Dancers performing all different types of music. For the second show they brought in Grammy Nominated pianist/vocalist named Judy Carmichael with her show called “Swinging Music, Sultry Vocals and Sassy Humor”. Both shows were very good.
After the shows we ended our night like we have been lately which was to listen to Colin Salter at the Avenue Saloon. But of course we also watched some of the Sunday night football game! Tomorrow we have a sea day and also gain that hour of sleep back. YAY! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
