Hi Again All! Another serene day on Serenity! We had dinner tonight at one of their specialty restaurants called Umi Uma. It was created by legendary Master Chef Nobuyuki (Nobu) Matsuhisa and their dishes are inspired by the exotic array and traditions of the Orient. Nobu is a Michelin starred chef and Crystal has the only Michelin starred restaurant at sea. WOW… the food was amazing!
The portions were small (that’s what I told myself!) so I tried a lot of them! And I got my lobster fix in with an Asian flair! For my starters I had the Lobster Tacos (cutest little things you’ve ever seen), the Lobster Tempura, the Rock Shrimp Tempura, the Soft Shell Crab Spring Rolls, and the Miso Soup. Whew…. But they were all SMALL! Lol. For my main I had the Nobu-Style Black Cod with Miso. And for dessert (yes, I snuck in dessert!) I had the Chocolate Soufflé Cake! Everything was delicious!
After dinner we went to the show which was called “My Influences” featuring Broadway star James Fox. He did songs from the people that influenced him like Billy Joel, the Eagles, Leo Sayer, Elton John and others. Great music and a great show!
After the show we went to the Palm Court to listen to the Flair Duo who we really like. We then called it a night. Tomorrow we are in Provincetown, Massachusetts and neither of us have been there so we’re really looking forward to it. Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
