Hi Again All! Well the beat goes on… another great night tonight. We started with dinner in Compass Rose. I got the Yellow Fin Tuna Carpaccio as well as the Marinated Hearts of Palm Salad for my starters. For my main I had the Fresh Sea Bass and for dessert I had the Cheese Plate. As always everything was delicious.
After dinner we went to the show which was an Irish fiddle player named E Sarah Carter. She’s been on the world tour with Michael Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance”. She plays foot stomping, toe tapping, high energy Celtic Bluegrass and Swing fiddle favorites.
Her show was called “Celtic: Wild and Swinging” and wow was it ever! We didn’t stop tapping our toes the whole time. We got hooked on Irish music on our last cruise listening to the Blackthorn Duo. She was ALMOST as good as them but they still hold our award for the all time favorite cruise ship group!
After the show we went to the Navigator Lounge and listened to Rod play a tribute to Elton John on the piano. You forget all the great music of Elton until you hear it all in one set. So good!
After that we crashed. Tomorrow is a sea day (our last on this cruise) so we’ll enjoy sleeping in! Hope everyone had a great Thursday!
